Danke Schön is a Dhampir (Triton). He hails from a hermit background and is a level 5 Bard of the college of spirits.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Danke Schön is a gentle, older gentleman who strives to connect with younger individuals and uplift them. He understands the brevity of life and encourages youth to take the spotlight. Despite his chaotic tendencies, Danke finds joy in bringing happiness to others. Having experienced a lifetime of hardship, he wishes to spare others from a similar fate.

Danke Schön was a little sea creature born in the ocean. When he was just 3 months old, he accidentally swallowed and choked on water even though he had gills. His fish parents, who had lots of kids, just let his body float away into the big ocean.
He ended up stranded on a vampire lord's land. The lord turned him into a dhampir for 6 years. But just as he was starting to figure out his weaknesses, a bunch of adventurers with a light sword and raven amulet killed his master. He decided to get out of the castle and roamed across the village that this vampire ruled. He hung out in the sun for way too long and his body got tired. Then he headed back to the castle and crashed into a coffin, totally forgetting to wake up.
Even though he was a dhampir, he managed to live out the entirety of his lifespan in slumber. Now, he appears weak and has a constitution of 5 (like actually). In an attempt to feel a sense of achievement in his life, he made the decision to embark on one final adventure.
Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
Danke Schön utilizes his talent for interpreting tarot cards and sharing the messages he receives from his spiritual companions (although some may perceive him as eccentric for conversing with a wall, as he is a spirits bard) to enhance his ally's performance. He also learned a lot of buff spells like enlarge/reduce, heroism, and motivational speech. Due to his highest stat being 14 and his HP being only 13, he lacks a sufficient damage spell. He depends on his animated bush familiar named Nintendo to assist with the help action and uses his guidance ability. His Alert trait allows him to guarantee he can use his buff before the enemy takes their turn.
Death[edit | edit source]
Danke Schön rolled a d100 every session to see if he dies (on a 1) and during 16 May 2024, he rolled a 100. He decided that day he needed to find a best way to die (in a roleplay session, btw). During the ritual to restore the land destroyed by Mother, an opportunity arose from the druid legion. They requested that each party member contribute something personal to the ritual pile, and Danke chose to offer himself as he felt a strong personal connection to himself. He cast Silence spell to prevent anyone from convincing him to turn back. When the ritual starts, he screams in pain as the ritual vaporizes every item on the pile, but it falls on deaf ears (because Silence).
