The Lightning-Kin are a capital group of adventurers funded by the government of the city of Zobeck and the throne of the Levinkan Dynasty. Membership is highly exclusive and rigorous tests require passing before the many resources and secrets of the kingdom can be granted.
In 1293 PR, the iteration of the Lightning-Kin led by Altix the Levinkan was lost in the sewers of Zobeck. They were killed by a black pudding that had been growing down below for forty years. Some Warforged had unleashed it from the Center for Monstrous Sciences and thought running away would have no consequences.
