Livewood is a special type of tree found in small, exclusive groves across Quelmar.

The more iconic property of livewood is its ability to continue to grow, sprout, and live even after being cut down and processed into lumber. This gave it the flexibility of living trees, while staying carvable.

The dryad Doraleous (tree/trim) was one of the rare dryads in Quelmar born from a livewood tree, allowing trim to leave tris grove and explore Quelmar without leaving his "tree" behind, by cutting down tris tree and carving it into a set of armor that tree always wore.
