Triboar is a trading post town that sits on a small oasis where the Serethi Plains, Central Badlands, Kharmaja Dune Sea, and Western Badlands of Pteris meet. It is the first stop that traders from Bryn Shandr stop at on their way south to the Swikedom Kingdom, and serves as a safe haven for nomads, archaeologists, and other travelers headed into the desert regions of Pteris.

Triboar as we known it was settled in 35 PR, but before it was settled, a Temple to Pelor sat at the oasis. The Temple and its surrounding buildings were destroyed in 994 BR when Fire Giants, using the Vonidod, a Giant-made adamantine colossus designed to hunt dragons, and Chromatic Dragons fought here. Destroying the Temple, and leaving the ruins to be buried under the sand. This battle was witnessed by Diyu the Rakshasa, who escaped Hellmar for the very first time in 994 BR, but unfortunately arrived in the midst of the battle, and was crushed by a falling dragon who had been knocked out of the sky by the Vonidod.
All of PR, the Triboar has simply been a trading post. It is currently guarded by Lord Protector Darathra and her band of mercenaries known as "The Twelve" who were notably missing when Triboar was attacked by Fire Giants.

Notable Events[edit | edit source]
Triboar was attacked by Fire Giants in 524 PR, lead by Duke Zalto and the Shepperd, looking for a fragment of the Vonidod, buried underneath the town. The attack played out and was fended off by the adventurer's in Session 1 of Temporal Thunder.
