The Viole is a small acid spitting part bat, part pig, (part dog?) with wings. The wings are useless, but adorable. They tend to be chaotic neutral. The origin of the Viole race is unknown, however it is assumed that Violes were originally created, theorized as part of an experiment intended as a weapon. They are wild monsters, but can be tamed and domesticated. Due to their adorable nature many have taken interest in breeding them as a companion, however they can still be found in the wild.
Tamed Violes [edit | edit source]
Violes can be tamed and domesticated. Once tamed you can teach the Viole to attack for you. Additionally you can train it to be any alignment of your choosing. They're a lazy creature and very stubborn. Despite your efforts training, they are chaotic in their listening. They tend to do what they want.
Viole Acid[edit | edit source]
The acid spitting is an unfortunate side effect that came to be due to a complication that occurred early in the genetic timeline of the Viole. Given the destruction of the acid, the Viole is perceived as a status symbol since only those who can afford replacement furniture every time the viole has an episode can keep them.

A Viole belonging to the bard Andif was ridden into battle against The Paladin during Quelmar's Arctic Autumn, eventually helping a Friendly Kobold land the final blow and ridding the world of the menace.
