The scales of a young topaz wyrmling are a muted yellow, accented with touches of orange. As a topaz dragon matures, its eyes transform, losing their pupils and emanating a fiery glow, reminiscent of blazing orbs.

Inhabitants of the Elemental Plane of Water, topaz dragons make only occasional visits to the Material Plane, opting for remote shorelines or underwater caverns as their terrestrial havens. Despite their aquatic realm, they ensure their lairs remain arid.

Fond of basking on rocky ledges battered by the ocean's fury, these creatures relish the assault of the elements. While they generally show aversion to uninvited guests, they are inclined to engage in dialogue before resorting to aggression.
