As we approached, we were attacked by some large tentacles that emerged from beneath the surface. We fought and slew the strange oozelike creature, when we saw another strange figure light a path to their home. This entity introduced themselves as the Warden of the Wilds, who guarded the very land that we walked on. We had a brief rest as we explained what the company's mission was, and the Warden promised that if we respect the Wilds, there would be no harm brought upon us. They also explained that the ooze we fought was an Oblex, which could feed off memories and were only recently beginning to appear in the area. For our help in killing the Oblex, the Warden sent each of us a gift: a broach of wood and stone that amplified my magical abilities, and allowed us to send an Animal Messenger to them once a month to stay in contact.''

Then Jack of Hearts and his crew appeared, consisting of the undead pyromancer Malakar, Lambda’s “brother” Theta, Nassir’s brother Arven, a kobold named Tini, and some Eladrin named Yellana Eedryll. I’ll get to their significance later, since they were a constant thorn in the company’s side, but apparently they all had some sort of past linked to several members of the company (myself included, although it seemed temporary, and that whole situation is a lot, so I’ll explain later). We were able to fend them off and prevent the train from careening off a blown-up bridge when they sabotaged it in retaliation and deliver the tablets safely.''

The gnolls had been involved in other missions, and the company wanted us to see if there was a way to reduce their threat to future expeditions. I went with Amaris, Reedy, Dickweedus, Finny, and Radion via airskiff and found large plumes of smoke coming from some deep holes. We dispatched a gnoll patrol before heading down, discovering a massive gnoll warcamp where several large war machines were being created by a gnoll artificer named Ripjaw. There was also signs of collaboration between the gnolls and myconid creatures, which was a warning sign for future things to come. We were able to disable their forge by releasing the efreeti Scournia that was held captive to power the forge, and she gave us a boon allowing us to create blasts of fire.''

| ''This one... there was a lot from this mission, on a personal level... Cookie believed that they were able to find another leyline node through the research gathered from the previous missions, and sent a group of us to go investigate. I went with 22, Timothar, Sir Eedryll, Heli, and Thordon via airskiff to the location, which ended up being a gastrosapian village. One of the farmers led us down into the caverns, where a large leyline tree grew, producing magical sap that nourished a large hydra-snail called the Hydrail. Then... Talyth appeared. We shared a brief moment together as he explained that he left me to investigate the leyline exposures, which according to him was unnatural. He invited us to participate in a series of trials to gain access to the leyline tree, which also included a pumpkin cultist named Dynia and a group of strange kobolds led by Oobu. The first stage had us race through the jungle, with vines that fought back against anyone aggressive. The next stage was some sort of bridge that would throw people off if they didn't answer questions truthfully. After that, there was a challenge where one of us (Sir Eedryll ended up getting picked) was briefly possessed by a fey spirit and we had to figure out who it was. The final stage involved trying to take a locket from the Hydrail, which 22 was able to do near-instantly. However, Oobu revealed himself to be a strange mimic parasite and possessed the Hydrail as his kobold friends attacked us. We were able to free the Hydrail from Oobu's control, although he did escape with a warning that Old Alkiminic would rise again. Afterwards, Talyth congratulated us and granted the company access to the leyline tree for future use, while giving me a charcoal drawing of a "William WIgland" who has some sort of connection to me...''

We found a young white dragon that decided to make their lair in the Wilds under attack by a group of gnolls, who we quickly dispatched. We fought some gnolls, fungal demons and a demonic centaur outside the ruins of a temple, which was warded to keep out dragonkin. Alkiir took watch on the surface as we descended down, finding and killing more demons and gnolls that were attempting to gain access to the inner chambers. My white dragon scale necklace granted us entry (probably because it was a trophy from a slain dragon) which led to a giant lizard that nested inside with an obsidian dragon statuette. Thordon was able to peacefully negotiate with the lizard into giving us the artifact, which we then handed over to Alkiir after Amaris checked with Sabbatical to make sure we were doing the right thing.''

| ''The one after... oh this was a lot to handle, especially since I was overloaded with magic during this mission because I spoke to the leyline tree in Escargotia. One of the survey teams went silent, so Paul sent Chrysaor, 22, Heli, Pash, Mirth, and myself to go check on them. As we were leaving, "Paul" suddenly ran over to join us, which was extremely weird (and lead to trouble later on). We were able to locate the team, who were all fine but stranded since their airskiff got damaged. Upon further inspection, we found signs of sabotage, which was important for later. Lorrie Haslo (who was Lambda's former archeological boss) asked for assistance in clearing out some undead in her search for The Philosopher's Stone, which is a powerful artifact that can transmute anything. We went in and killed all the undead, but we discovered Paul's body with a company knife in the back of his head. Well, technically it wasn't Paul. 22 tried to Revivify "Not-Paul", turned out to be some strange amalgam of flesh. After Heli and Chrysaor performed an unsanctioned autopsy, we went back to the camp and found that there was another survey member who was also similar to "Not-Paul". We also detected a powerful source of transmutation magic directly underneath the camp which I dug up. It ended up being '''The''' Philosopher's Stone, when Not-Paul then reappeared and tried to steal it. Luckily, we were able to defeat it and bring the Stone back to base camp without any other complications.''

Because the Warden was unable to negotiate with the fairies for the flower, we were tasked to infiltrate and steal it. I was paired with Cealion, who I was mostly trying to just keep out of drunken trouble, and ended up getting kicked out as I tried to cover for him. I don't know the full details of what happened inside, but what I do know is that Pash somehow courted Princess Everlily and they ended up getting married... I don't know the exact circumstances, but the princess must have either been really desperate, or Pash really did swoon the princess. But that's not my business, and Pash is going to be living happily at Fairyflower Mountain now.''

The former Green Knight, Lord Bellephon, was overcome with grief when his son, who was the Green Knight before him, died. This led him to ally with the gnolls to "let the wilds reclaim the land". An expedition apparently found his lair and was able to defeat him, turning him into a helmet that we cast in the main fire to stop him from regenerating. Fast forwarding to the attack on camp... in an attempt to buy other members time to escape, Sir Eedryll took over as the new mantle of the Green Knight. I... it hurts to think of it, since Sir Eedryll was... I'm just going to continue.''
