Wiggler was once a person by the name of William Wigland. One day, he asked Wren, his childhood crush, if she would still love him if he was a worm. Wren said yes, then immediately turned William into a worm. (She lied.) She then opened a portal to the Feywilds and threw him in.

William wandered the Feywilds for days, not remembering who he was. One day, William was almost eaten by a Fey bird but was saved by a Kenku Druid by the name of Talyth. Talyth realized something was wrong, and used his own essence to awaken William, turning him into Wiggler the awakened worm.

To protect Wiggler and make sure they survived, Talyth (with the help of some of his friends) constructed a Warforged suit that would protect Wiggler from any other birds that would want to eat them. Talyth also taught Wiggler how to use Druidic magics, which ended up involving a lot of worms. And wiggling. (Apparently Wiggler only knew those two things. They had no memories of being William.)

On a recent expedition to investigate a leyline, Wiggler found Talyth, who was acting as an advisor for the Hydrail, a large hydra-like snail creature that fed off the natural magics of the leyline. Talyth told Wiggler that he left to investigate the leyline exposures, and gave them a charcoal drawing of a man by the name of William Wigland...

Talyth told Wiggler that he left to investigate the leyline exposures, and gave them a charcoal drawing of a man by the name of William Wigland...
Over several months, Wiggler has been through many different events, such as slaying a young white dragon, discovering the Philosopher's Stone, defending the Tempest Brothers headquarters from bounty hunters, delving down into the Hells, slaying Jim Stacy, and stopping the fey dragon Faereina from summoning an incursion of Wild Fey. They have also met and learned more about Wren, causing old memories of the past to rise back up to the surface, as well as some strange potential connection to one of The Seven, The Lord of the Beneath. It seems like a good idea to take some time off and search for answers, as new threats seem to have emerged in the wake of the old ones...

Wiggler’s Warforged suit grants them resistance against poison, immunity to disease and magical sleep, and provides Wiggler with sustenance and air (Constructed Resilience). The suit is also able to detect motion and sound when Wiggler rests (Sentry's Rest). Due to the unique construction of the suit, armor is stronger and takes longer to don/doff, but cannot be forcefully removed (Integrated Armor). Additionally, dragons have a harder time detecting Wiggler due to the Existence Crystal powering the suit (Crystal Core).

Wiggler has chosen to follow in Talyth’s footsteps and became a Druid. As a Circle of <s>Worms</s> Spores Druid, Wiggler is able to use nature magic to transform into animals (Wild Shape), usually preferring to take the form of a cat. Additionally, they emit an aura of necrotic wiggles that can damage enemies (Halo of Spores). Wiggler is able to awaken the aura by channeling nature magic to grant temporary health and deal extra damage to enemies (Symbiotic Entity).

One day, Wiggler felt the presence of Talyth in the forest. Upon searching the area and failing to find him, Wiggler was granted telepathy (Telepathic) by an unknown entity. This allowed them to speak telepathically to anyone nearby, or hear/probe the thoughts of others if they focus (Detect Thoughts).

When Wiggler helped release the Efreti Scournia that was powering the forge at Camp Emberclaw, Wiggler was granted the Boon of the Efreti, which allows them to conjure 3 flaming rays to throw at enemies (Scorching Ray, 2nd level) twice before the boon fades.

As Wiggler's magic grew, they found that they were able to temporarily control corpses by imbuing them with wiggles (Fungal Infestation), although they have yet found a time to use this ability.

Wiggler obtained two boons during two back-to-back missions. The first one is a Symbol of Mammon granted by the Archdevil of the Third Layer of Hell himself, given in thanks for assisting him with obtaining a powerful revolver that could slay any fiend known as The Vaulkner. The boon allows Wiggler to amplify surrounding greedy desires (Incite Greed, no material component) up to two times, and gives them advantage on the first Charisma check when meeting and interacting with a devil for the first time. The second boon comes from latent Celestial magic traces (Divinely Favored) from a Celestial temple that fell from the Upper Planes. Wiggler gained the ability to conjure radiant Feyfire down upon enemies (Sacred Flame), project a bolt of sparkling Feyfire that coats the target in shimmering light (Guiding Bolt), and briefly glimpse into the future (Augury).

After slaying the Fey Dragon Faereina and stopping a Wild Fey incursion, Wiggler absorbed some of the lingering draconic energy, gaining the ability to create a pulse of magic that saps energy and grants it to a nearby ally (Silvery Barbs) and teleport short distances with a minor Fey Portal (Misty Step). The dragonmark can also generate a powerful burst of fey magic that can put enemies into a slumber (Sleep, 5th level) twice from the latent dream energy stored within.

Crocodile: A large crocodile form occasionally used by Wiggler. They bit Ferdinand Core's ankle in this form when they were still shrunken by feydust.
Ape: An ape form first used in an attempt to force Finny to rest when he had strange magical symptoms.
Poisonous Snake: A small snake form taken by Wiggler out of boredom. First used to slither around in the pumpkin patch.
Lizard: A small lizard form taken by Wiggler out of boredom. Originally used to deceive Ferdinand Core of Wiggler's actual size/form.

Attacks and Weapons
Attacks and Weapons
Wiggler usually takes a supportive role in combat. They primarily focus on healing allies to prevent them from falling in battle (Cure Wounds, Healing Word), while also controlling the battlefield through area control spells (Entangle, Blindness/Deafness, Spike Growth) or summons to disrupt enemies (Summon Beast, Conjure Animals, Summon Fey). If engaged in melee, Wiggler is able to hold aggro and contain an enemy with a mixture of melee abilities (Symbiotic Entity, Halo of Spores), spells (Shillelagh, Primal Savagery) and magic item effects (Broach of the Warden, Staff of the Waxing Moon). For ranged combat, they have several offensive spells at their disposal, with most of them having some sort of debuffing effect (Chill Touch, Thorn Whip, Flaming Sphere, Call Lightning, Heat Metal). Wiggler has also recently learned how to channel their Druidic magic into themselves or an ally for powerful Wild Shapes (Polymorph).
Wiggler usually tries to avoid conflict. If endangered, they usually try to control the battlefield, disabling hostiles while protecting themselves and any allies from danger. However, they are also capable of fending off melee assailants should the need arise.

Major/Minor Magic Items
Major Items:

* Broach of the Warden

Wiggler received this from the Warden of the Wilds and their patron as a thanks for their assistance in dealing with an Oblex. The stone and wood broach is carved in the shape of a bird, and allows Wiggler to cast Primal Savagery, holds two 1st level spell slots charges, and can be used as a target for Animal Messenger once a month to contact the Warden.

* <s>Moon Sickle (+1)</s>

<s>Wiggler received this item after participating in the festival trials of the Thistlebrook Conclave. This silver sickle amplifies druidic and healing magic. Spell attacks and spell save DCs are increased by +1 and healing spells heal an additional 1d4 health.</s>

* <s>Staff of the Rooted Hills</s>

<s>Wiggler received this item from the Warden of the Wilds as a thanks for infiltrating Fairyflower Mountain to acquire a thousand year flower for the Grung cure. This twisted wooden staff counts as a +1 quarterstaff. The first creature hit during a turn with the staff must make a DC 12 Strength save or be restrained by the spectral vines of the staff until the start of the next turn, and the staff can cast Hold Person (DC 12) or Speak with Plants once per day by invoking the Hill Rune.</s>

* Feyweaver's Loom

Wiggler received this item from the Warden of the Wilds as a thanks for infiltrating Fairyflower Mountain to acquire a thousand year flower for the Grung cure. The loom is able to weave Minor Illusions, and can create a Major Image once per day.

* Staff of the Waxing Moon

Wiggler combined the Moon Sickle and the Staff of the Rooted Hills at the Arcane Forge, creating the Staff of the Waxing Moon. This long twisted wooden staff has a glowing crescent blade attached to the top, and counts as a +1 quarterstaff. With the command word, the staff can glow to give off bright light for 10 feet and dim light for another 10 feet. Spell attacks and spell save DCs are increased by +1 and healing spells heal an additional 1d6 health. Additionally, the first creature hit during a turn by the staff must make a DC 14 Strength save or be restrained by the spectral vines of the staff until the start of the next turn, and the staff can cast Hold Person, Speak with Plants, or Moonbeam once per day (DC 14) by channeling the lunar energy stored in the blade.
*Shield of Mourning

Wiggler received this item from Sir Yewvane Eedryll after he took on the mantle of the Green Knight. It is a shield painted in red with Yewvane's house crest (seven golden stars with four pointed stars) on the front, and the names of the fallen are etched into the backside. It is deceptively heavier than it looks, as each name weighs heavily on Wiggler's heart. If an ally falls unconscious in the presence of the shield, the shield bolsters itself and provides an additional +1 AC bonus for ten minutes, or until the ally is stabilized. The AC bonus can occur once a day.

Minor Items:

* <s>Wand of Scowls (DC 10 Charisma save or scowl for 1 minute, 3 charges)</s> sold back to Bulio

* <s>Wand of Smiles (DC 10 Charisma save or smile for 1 minute, 3 charges)</s> sold back to Bulio
Notable Items
* Wand of Prestidigitation (Prestidigitation at will)
* <s>Wind Fan (DC 13 Gust of Wind, cumulative chance of item destruction)</s> given to Ash
* <s>Rope of Climbing (Magical climbing rope)</s> communal camp item
* Wand of Web (DC 15 Web, 7 charges, shared item)

Charcoal Drawing of William Wigland
Broach of the Warden

Wiggler received a charcoal drawing from Talyth when they first reunited depicting a human man labeled with the name "William Wigland". Wiggler is still trying to understand what this means, as they have slowly felt another presence in their mind start to grow stronger.

White Dragon Scale Necklace
Moon Sickle (+1)

Wiggler encountered a white dragon who made themselves a lair in the jungle, and fashioned a simple necklace from one of the dragon scales after it was slain.
Wiggler received this item after participating in the <s>festival</s> trials of the Thistlebrook Conclave. This silver sickle amplifies druidic and healing magic. Spell attacks and spell save DCs are increased by +1 and healing spells heal an additional 1d4 health.

Eisen Bark Breastplate (Non-metal breastplate)
Companions
Wiggler commissioned this breastplate from Captain Pennysworth, after they felt the need to upgrade their armor. The breastplate is made from bark from the Eisen tree, which is equally as strong and effective as metal armor and does not affect Wiggler's Druidic magic.
Sabbatical
<s>Infernal Gold (equates to 500 gold pieces)</s>

<s>Wiggler received a batch of Infernal Gold that was left over from the amount they procured for the Warden to weaponize the fungal cure. It is equivalent to 500 gold pieces, but can also be used to modify the fungal cure.</s> Used up to pay for crafting a fey dragon cloak

<s>Fungal Potion Cure</s>

<s>Wiggler received a vial of the Warden's fungal cure after obtaining the Tears of the Celestial needed to complete it. It is able to cleanse people who are affected by Mother's demonic fungi.</s> Used during the Thelryan Restoration by allies

<s>Infernal Cure Concoction</s>

<s>Wiggler received a weaponized version of the Warden's fungal cure after helping to complete it. It is enhanced with Infernal Gold, and is extremely potent against demons.</s> Used during the Thelryan Restoration by allies

<div class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed">
Wow. It’s been so long since I last opened this journal. So much has happened since. Friends and enemies have come and gone, and this is entirely out of date. Guess I forgot about this in the chaos of everything. Now… where to start?
Well, I guess I can start out with the major events that happened. For starters, the base camp we established in the Wilds? That got completely destroyed. I was able to go back to check it out, but I wasn't entirely clearheaded during the attack. Everything was a blur. All I know is that the gnolls launched a massive raid, and we had to evacuate in a hurry. I do know that Sir Eedryll became the new Green Knight to protect us, but I'll get to that later...
Oh yeah, Galik also got besieged by some giant worm. The concerning part? That worm is apparently linked to one of The Seven... and it looks similar to me. Even worse, the cultist responsible for summoning it? It was Wren. The one who's got a history with me. I met face to face with her in another mission, but I can get to that later as well...
It's going to take forever for me to go through everything if I keep jumping between points.  I might as well start with the summaries for the missions I've gone on so I can get somewhere.
The very first mission I went on was to some sort of scouting expedition to establish a footing for the company in the Wilds. Out of the initial group consisting of Tassa, Kamakuras, Cinder, Jo, and myself, I'm the only one remaining... We were exploring a swamp when we encountered a strange tall figure along the way. As we approached, we were attacked by some large tentacles that emerged from beneath the surface. We fought and slew the strange oozelike creature, when we saw another strange figure light a path to their home. This entity introduced themselves as the Warden of the Wilds, who guarded the very land that we walked on. We had a brief rest as we explained what the company's mission was, and the Warden promised that if we respect the Wilds, there would be no harm brought upon us. They also explained that the ooze we fought was an Oblex, which could feed off memories and were only recently beginning to appear in the area. For our help in killing the Oblex, the Warden sent each of us a gift: a broach of wood and stone that amplified my magical abilities, and allowed us to send an Animal Messenger to them once a month to stay in contact.
After base camp was settled, I went with Sabbatical, Frankie, Dragonett, Amaris, and Jo to investigate some dinosaur carcasses that were discovered nearby. On the way there, a roc attacked the airskiff and caused us to crashland into some old temple with several dragon murals. After we unlocked the gate by solving an elemental puzzle, we discovered a medusa that made their lair in the ruins, which nearly petrified some of us as we fought. Luckily, I was able to blind it, stopping its petrifying gaze, and Frankie was able to stab it to death with a Dagger of Venom he found earlier in the ruins. As we continued exploring, we found a sarcophagus that held some strange dragonborn vampire... which we may have accidentally released when we broke some magic enchantments on it. We were able to depart peacefully, but as we reached the surface, we were ambushed by the former Green Knight, who knocked down the roc that attacked us earlier and attached some sort of collar that made it obey him. He tried to kill us all, but we were able to fend him off long enough for another airskiff to arrive to pick us up and fled safely.
Then there was the Thistlebrook Conclave festivities, or at least some sort of trial. About a dozen of the company participated, and I went with a group that solved puzzles and riddles, while the other group went and fought.. something. I never got the full details, but apparently we would assist our allies in the combat trials if we successfully solved the puzzles we were given, but hurt them if we failed... All I know about the other group is that it was painful. At the end, the Conclave gave us all assorted magic items. I decided to pick up a Moon Sickle, which has been extremely helpful in keeping others alive and healthy during missions.
Oh, this mission. It was supposed to be a simple escort job, transporting some ancient stone tablets on the Bronze Hawk Railway to one of Cookie’s associates. I joined Sabbatical, Reedy, Frankie, Chrysaor, Radion and Cealion to help out the company. Then Jack of Hearts and his crew appeared, consisting of the undead pyromancer Malakar, Lambda’s “brother” Theta, Nassir’s brother Arven, a kobold named Tini, and some Eladrin named Yellana Eedryll. I’ll get to their significance later, since they were a constant thorn in the company’s side, but apparently they all had some sort of past linked to several members of the company (myself included, although it seemed temporary, and that whole situation is a lot, so I’ll explain later). They launched a deadly attack on the train, killing several passengers and the train crew, in an attempt to steal the tablets. We were able to fend them off and prevent the train from careening off a blown-up bridge when they sabotaged it in retaliation and deliver the tablets safely.
The next mission had us investigate gnoll activity near base camp. The gnolls had been involved in other missions, and the company wanted us to see if there was a way to reduce their threat to future expeditions. I went with Amaris, Reedy, Dickweedus, Finny, and Radion via airskiff and found large plumes of smoke coming from some deep holes. We dispatched a gnoll patrol before heading down, discovering a massive gnoll warcamp where several large war machines were being created by a gnoll artificer named Ripjaw. There was also signs of collaboration between the gnolls and myconid creatures, which was a warning sign for future things to come. We were able to disable their forge by releasing the efreeti Scournia that was held captive to power the forge, and she gave us a boon allowing us to create blasts of fire.
This one... there was a lot from this mission, on a personal level... Cookie believed that they were able to find another leyline node through the research gathered from the previous missions, and sent a group of us to go investigate. I went with 22, Timothar, Sir Eedryll, Heli, and Thordon via airskiff to the location, which ended up being a gastrosapian village. One of the farmers led us down into the caverns, where a large leyline tree grew, producing magical sap that nourished a large hydra-snail called the Hydrail. Then... Talyth appeared. We shared a brief moment together as he explained that he left me to investigate the leyline exposures, which according to him was unnatural. He invited us to participate in a series of trials to gain access to the leyline tree, which also included a pumpkin cultist named Dynia and a group of strange kobolds led by Oobu. The first stage had us race through the jungle, with vines that fought back against anyone aggressive. The next stage was some sort of bridge that would throw people off if they didn't answer questions truthfully. After that, there was a challenge where one of us (Sir Eedryll ended up getting picked) was briefly possessed by a fey spirit and we had to figure out who it was. The final stage involved trying to take a locket from the Hydrail, which 22 was able to do near-instantly. However, Oobu revealed himself to be a strange mimic parasite and possessed the Hydrail as his kobold friends attacked us. We were able to free the Hydrail from Oobu's control, although he did escape with a warning that Old Alkiminic would rise again. Afterwards, Talyth congratulated us and granted the company access to the leyline tree for future use, while giving me a charcoal drawing of a "William WIgland" who has some sort of connection to me...
The mission after that was kind of bittersweet. There was an ice cave that appeared in the middle of the Wilds, which was extremely weird. The company sent a group consisting of Marion, Radion, Amaris, Chrysaor, Fchyla 80, Dickweedus, and myself to investigate and see if there were any possible threats. We found a young white dragon that decided to make their lair in the Wilds under attack by a group of gnolls, who we quickly dispatched. Unfortunately, the dragon (who was fairly innocent here) wouldn’t let us leave, so we had to slay it. I did take a scale and fashion a necklace with it as a memento though.
Nettle discovered that fruit from a leyline tree could allow her to make better soups for the company, so I went along with Dickweedus, Dragonett, Thordon, Heli, Pash, and Ahriman to gather the resources. Unfortunately, we found the tree being harvested by a group of gnolls. We fought and defeated the gnolls before they could cause further harm, but we were unable to fully heal the damage. We were still able to collect some fruits to bring back to Nettle, which did help improve her soup stock.
Sabbatical had left the company for a while before this mission to return back to the Hells, but sent a dragonborn named Alkiir to camp for a favor. I was selected alongside Thordon, Heli, Lambda, and Amaris to assist him in retrieving some sort of artifact for her fight against demonic forces. We fought some gnolls, fungal demons and a demonic centaur outside the ruins of a temple, which was warded to keep out dragonkin. Alkiir took watch on the surface as we descended down, finding and killing more demons and gnolls that were attempting to gain access to the inner chambers. My white dragon scale necklace granted us entry (probably because it was a trophy from a slain dragon) which led to a giant lizard that nested inside with an obsidian dragon statuette. Thordon was able to peacefully negotiate with the lizard into giving us the artifact, which we then handed over to Alkiir after Amaris checked with Sabbatical to make sure we were doing the right thing.
The one after... oh this was a lot to handle, especially since I was overloaded with magic during this mission because I spoke to the leyline tree in Escargotia. One of the survey teams went silent, so Paul sent Chrysaor, 22, Heli, Pash, Mirth, and myself to go check on them. As we were leaving, "Paul" suddenly ran over to join us, which was extremely weird (and lead to trouble later on). We were able to locate the team, who were all fine but stranded since their airskiff got damaged. Upon further inspection, we found signs of sabotage, which was important for later. Lorrie Haslo (who was Lambda's former archeological boss) asked for assistance in clearing out some undead in her search for The Philosopher's Stone, which is a powerful artifact that can transmute anything. We went in and killed all the undead, but we discovered Paul's body with a company knife in the back of his head. Well, technically it wasn't Paul. 22 tried to Revivify "Not-Paul", turned out to be some strange amalgam of flesh. After Heli and Chrysaor performed an unsanctioned autopsy, we went back to the camp and found that there was another survey member who was also similar to "Not-Paul". We also detected a powerful source of transmutation magic directly underneath the camp which I dug up. It ended up being The Philosopher's Stone, when Not-Paul then reappeared and tried to steal it. Luckily, we were able to defeat it and bring the Stone back to base camp without any other complications.
The next mission? It was... strange to say the least. We were contacted by the Warden who was working on a fungal cure to treat the village of grung that other company members placed in their care.  I went along with Rina, Otto, Radion, Cealion, and Pash to assist the Warden in retrieving a magical flower that was closely guarded in Fairyflower Mountain. Because the Warden was unable to negotiate with the fairies for the flower, we were tasked to infiltrate and steal it. With the assistance of a sprite named Teedles, we were given magical disguises and a cover story to gain access to the royal ball, where Princess Everlily was trying to find a suitor to marry so she could rule her kingdom. I was paired with Cealion, who I was mostly trying to just keep out of drunken trouble, and ended up getting kicked out as I tried to cover for him. I don't know the full details of what happened inside, but what I do know is that Pash somehow courted Princess Everlily and they ended up getting married... I don't know the exact circumstances, but the princess must have either been really desperate, or Pash really did swoon the princess. But that's not my business, and Pash is going to be living happily at Fairyflower Mountain now.
I would have hoped that the expedition would have gone smoothly, but like I mentioned earlier, we were forced to evacuate base camp when an army of gnolls, cultists, and demons attacked. I don't remember anything, but I was told that I helped gather everything that we could take onto the airskiffs as we escaped. What did happen though... it might be better to provide context before I explain any further. The Green Knight, who kept opposing us, turned out to be a mantle held by several generations. The former Green Knight, Lord Bellephon, was overcome with grief when his son, who was the Green Knight before him, died. This led him to ally with the gnolls to "let the wilds reclaim the land". An expedition apparently found his lair and was able to defeat him, turning him into a helmet that we cast in the main fire to stop him from regenerating. Fast forwarding to the attack on camp... in an attempt to buy other members time to escape, Sir Eedryll took over as the new mantle of the Green Knight. I... it hurts to think of it, since Sir Eedryll was... I'm just going to continue.
