Gaia (sometimes known as "The Earth Mother") was one of the greatest threats to ever appear across Quelmar, who had nearly ascended to a realm-dominating godhood, and could only be stopped by a permanent imprisonment into The BackHalls.
It is believed that Gaia is the originator of Lycanthropy.

In some timelines, Gaia's attempt to ascend to godhood succeeded, and she would become an ultimate power over the realm in those timelines, representing all of life and nature in a traditional "Mother Nature" sense. Though in those timelines she is benevolent truly a giver to the realm, it was at the cost of many other gods, who fought hard against losing their influence over the realm, but ultimately bent the knee to Gaia.
