Race, or Species, is the biological makeup on oneself and one's social kind. Creatures with no form of social life or inter-species connectivity are often referred to, instead, as monsters.
While there were only a handful of Quelmar races in the beginning of history, travel from other planes, and massive points of cross-breeding have created thousands of major races. Besides cross-breeds (which are generally treated as their own race), there are also sub-species known as Sub-Races (which fall under one category of race).
The races of the expanded Quelmar Universe are unimaginably diverse and estranged, however most intellectual races are humanoid.
