Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III

Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III is a Neutral-Aligned Human First-Year General Studies Student at Deroulex's Select Conservatory of the Arcane. He is an up-and-coming theatrical actor, looking to get either into Silverquill College to improve his oratory performance or to get into Prismari College to improve his creative prowess. He is a member of the Playactor's Drama Guild and the Dead Languages Society, two clubs that he uses to improve his acting craft, something he takes very seriously.

Quentillius is, in short, confusing. However, he prefers to put it into long form, saying that instead of simply being confusing, he is "a testament to the battle of nature versus nurture, a joie de vivre and absurdist mind shackled by a conformist society that craves dedication and seriousness." Due to the nature of his magic and own prowess with emotional introspection, that is not a far-off description of Quentillius. The two sides of his mind almost work in opposition of each other, dampening his capabilities as an actor.

Despite being a consummate dreamer to their core, Quentillius has developed a rigid belief in how the "craft of theater" SHOULD go, one that has caused him to receive mixed opinions no matter what role he fulfills on the stage. Whether an actor, a crew member, or merely an audience-goer, he plays his "part" with the upmost seriousness, and is quick to make an enemy out of if you don't do the same. Many people would think that theater is all about the freedom to dream, explore, and act, but Quentillius proves, time and time again, and criticized again and again for hid demeanor, that a serious mind knows no bounds.

He's grown used to losing friends over this. Having people leave his life because of his undying intensity for the craft, and if another person were to leave, would he know it was his fault? Absolutely. But you could not get him to care. He knows where his ambitions lie, and he will do anything short of crime to achieve them (although, he does joke that the jury is out on that.) He values his independent and steadfast demeanor that was whipped into him at a young age more than his life.

Campaign History

Quentillius first appeared in "Orientation Challenge," where he was on a team with Cadoras Damellawar and Rosimyffenbip Wuzzfeddlims. He was remarkably quiet and reserved during the challenge, though he did characteristically give it his all, but simply was intimidated by the clash between Cadoras and Rosimyffenbip. However, their feud distracted him, and he was jumped by one of the mimic-chests, sustaining heavy injuries and eventually passing away. He was revived shortly after by the Infirmary Staff, and admitted for observation.

He had a minor appearance in the minor-RP-event "All Hallow's Eve," where he dressed up as a court jester, with all the bells and whistles.

He next appeared in "Frog's The Word," where he was a frog racer responsible for coaching Political Commentary Frog to victory. His frog was one of the finalists and he faced some might when they attacked the cafe, but he was able to escape relatively uninjured. He has realized that Grimmwood does not like him.

Bond Powers

Quentillius is known to have immense skill at using magic to superimpose emotions into people. He very rarely uses this power on others due to his own moral views, but instead on himself to improve his acting. However, when he and someone else are feeling the same emotion, one of which tampered by his magic, he can connect to them and divine their current surroundings.
