Shuvadri Glintmantle

Shuvadri Glintmantle is a Lawful Good-Aligned Owlin Silverquill Apprentice at Deroulex's Select Conservatory of the Arcane. She upholds the ideals of peace and community like a soldier defends her post, often moving through life with an unshakably calm demeanor, unfazed by things that most people would be by. Her religious values have gravitated her towards the Student Mages of Faith, where she shares tales of peace and community from back home. She has also found work cleaning up graffiti from the general campus in order to keep the community clean.

Shuvadri owes most of what makes Shuvadri "Shuvadri" to her place of birth. By all metrics, she had a mostly normal life. Two parents, who both loved her, and both loved each other. A solid foundation in academia and faith. A generally trouble-free childhood, relative to the place where she's from. That's where the confounding variable is. As much as Shuvadri lives a peaceful, apathetic-seeming, carring life to everyone around her, the truth is that the shadowy, underhanded nature of Fallhorn City has affected her more than she'd like to admit.

She got good at surviving in the slums. After all, she had to be, or else she wouldn't be here. And for better or for worse, living in a location so devoid of peace has shaped her into the acolyte of peace that she is today. She became exceptionally good at rallying the people who lived near her into helping each other, because it was the only way she'd survive. She became exceptionally good at cleaning up the streets so that thieves' guilds wouldn't cut each other up over scraps. But most of all...when you see so much chaos and violence every day, you become desensitized to it. Nothing could shake Shuvadri's resolve now if anyone tried. She is determined to see peace, and will see it through.

She got into Deroulex on recommendation. A traveling Silverquill Professor of Shadow got stuck in Fallhorn City, and despite barely being able to scrape by herself, she created a home for him. A haven. Fed him, sheltered him, and showed him that even in the darkest corners of the world, peace and light can still exist. Now that she's here, she's encouraged to follow in the Shadowy footsteps, and honestly? She might. However, it's hard for her to choose. Decades of surviving in shadow and squalor prevent her from doing the one thing she needs to do here at Deroulex - look to the future.

Campaign History

Shuvadri Glintmantle first appeared in "Orientation Challenge," where they were on a team with Tilana Kapule and Rubina Larkingdale. Though she was not very good at solving the clues themselves, she had quite a talent for keeping her team level-headed in order to prevent them from being sidetracked. However, when the mimic-chests attacked, she was unable to defend herself as her teammates had, and was severely injured. Though she was saved by Dean Lu and Professor Willowdusk, the experience has left her with much to think about in terms of friendship.

She had a minor appearance in the minor-RP-event "All Hallow's Eve," where she claimed to be dressed as a priest, which is not different from her normal outfit. However, she had full-size candy bars, so no one cared.
