The Galik Gazette was a wild tabloid published in Galik by generations of Kobolds, most notably Squagly the Story Squire.

In the 460s PR, Squagly recieved an anonymous tip from the church of Bane, who were looking to steal the Crown of Empyrosis, which had been secured and captured by the city's Lyreguard. The Banites hoped that be inducing a public panic, it would become hard to hide the Crown somewhere. This made life incredibly difficult for the Lyreguard's team, who had to enact The Burning of Ambleside to drawn the public off the scent of the crown.
