Urzmatok Grojsh

Urzmatok Grojsh is a Neutral-Aligned Orc Second-Year Witherbloom Student at Deroulex's Select Conservatory of the Arcane. He is known far and wide across Campus as the best student by far, and though he's certainly not humble about it, he doesn't let it get to his head. He knows how to focus his studies and manage his time effectively, and can help other students while also being the president of the Fantastical Horticulture Club and a specimen preparer in the Campus Magic Labs.

From a young age, Urzmatok has always been the smartest among his family and friends, seen as a childhood prodigy in the town he grew up in, especially pertaining to the natural world. Though he was not nearly as athletic as the rest of his peers, his knowledge of the behavioral habits and biological aspects of everything relating to flora and fauna has always been top-notch, opening up the entire world to him in a way that his clan had never seen before. So why was he so hesitant?

The answer is fear, for Urzmatok is intimately familiar with the power that pure, unbridled obsession holds, and he will do anything to avoid it. As such, he often comes off as lax, humble, or uncaring, like academics comes naturally to him. And though it does, no one works harder to maintain his mind than Urzmatok does, because Urzmatok knows that, at the end of the day, there will soon be a choice for him to make.

His time to join the world is nigh, and as his powers bloom, Urzmatok knows that there will be nothing of himself left. It was written in the very nature of his magic, magic that he rarely uses because to him, the power to transform and copy bestial aspects is nothing but obsessive fraud. And ultimately, this block in his own magic will be his downfall. He doesn't know it yet, but he is already obsessed - obsessed with the fear of failure.

Campaign History

Urzmatok first appeared in "Orientation Challenge," where he was running the Club Stand for the Fantastical Horticulture Club in the Student Activity Center. He wasn't part of the Hunt, but provided hints and clues to students who needed help during the Scavenger Hunt.

He had a minor appearance in the minor-RP-event "All Hallow's Eve," where he dressed as a necromancer and enchanted flowers to follow him around like a little army.

His next appearance was in "Kickstarter," where he was attempting to start up a potion business with Grayson Wildemere, when his testing base, as well as all of his alchemy supplies and ingredients in the Campus Magical Labs, had been eaten by something leaving behind an orange, gelatinous trail. He employed the help of the party, and all together (with the help of Cadoras Damellawar and Melwythorne as well) were able to track down the Amber Ooze. He used some of the basic magic he had learned from Witherbloom to take it down, since his own magic wouldn't come in handy, and later formed Wildemere & Grojsh with Grayson.

Bond Powers

Urzmatok has the power to copy aspects of animals that he can see. His power is incredibly limited, something that he's incredibly self-conscious about due to the amount of limitations on his magic, given that he is such a public figure in the school as someone of great intelligence.
