For the life that he can remember, Javenesh has been an addict. Bouncing from bar to bar in Breme, always trying to seek the bottom of a bottle as if nothing else mattered, making friends, fighting them, getting kicked out, repeat. He doesn't like to admit it, but that's where his foundation in mixology comes from, drinking has taught him more than any formal training EVER could. After his first semester at Deroulex, life hit him hard - a plague had ravaged his hometown, killing both of his parents. He decided to take a gap semester to cope, which turned into a year, and then another, and then another...three years later, and he could hardly recognize himself when he looked in the mirror. |

By all means, he doesn't hate unruly drinking culture, as much as he claims nowadays. The people he's met in a night and then knocked the lights out of are too many to count, and yet he considers all of them his friends. He won't say it, but he feels responsible for them, as someone who can relate to their situation. But even so, blow after blow can still do a number on you. One night, he'd had too much to drink, and taken one too many hits to the head, and the first thing Javenesh can remember is lying in an alley. Snow covering his wings, teeth chattering, his breathing slowing, his heart...stopping. |

Javenesh had a minor appearance in the minor-RP-event "All Hallow's Eve," where he wore a matching costume with Tilana Kapule, dressing as an incubus. He did not commit to the bit.
Javenesh's first main-story appearance was in the session "Work Hard, Play Harder," where he was tending the bar while his fellow second-year friend group handled the annual tradition of passing down the Bag of Tricks that he had won to the first years through a competitive game of Wizard Gizzard. When the Spicy-Steam Mephits attacked, he fled the tavern and largely worked on handling paperwork for the incident...until the tavern was burned down by the group's accidental summoning of a Grease-Fire Elemental. He has been jobless and depressed since.
Bond Powers[edit | edit source]
Javenesh formed a pact with a powerful being long ago, under two key principles - alcohol makes you honest, and nothing in life is truly free. The specifics of this can be found by unlocking his personal history, but for his magical power, he has the ability to read the surface-level thoughts of any creature he serves an alcoholic beverage to. When he drinks alcohol himself, he can read the thoughts of everyone around him, the range dependent on how much he has consumed.
