The Soctmine are an illusive race of monstrous looking creatures who live in and around the Amusa canyons.

The land of Kelogo, therefore, can be considered a proto-Quelmar, though James wouldn't touch fantasy fiction storytelling until nearly another decade later.
- The incorporation of the Soctmine into the Quelmar world was solidified when the Soctmine found their way into the Curated Chronicles of Quelmar, with a completely new reinterpretation done by fellow members of the community based on nothing other than the old artwork.
