Roscoe Cherrycheeks is a plucky halfling librarian from the ArchCrystal Tower in Galik. It was with heavy heart that the stoic head librarian sent talkative Roscoe far, far away to do "librarian field work" in Al'Adeaf with Dash as his guard. In the Ever-Sinking City, he has set up in the Beggar's Bodega to bake bread and cheaply read contracts and deals for the illiterate. Roscoe knows lots of fun facts about history, laws, and traditions, but since he learned everything from reading, take his pronunciations with two cups of salt.
Appearance
Roscoe Cherrycheeks has, unsurprisingly, cherry cheeks. His arms sport two tattooed sigils to replicate his Illumian coworkers. The Illumians told him the sigils mean "solemn" and "graceful" in true speech, and he knows they would never lie to him. Roscoe wears an oversived cloak from Dash over his 3'2" frame. He keeps his handy pocket sand (with some sprinkles mixed in) and librarian badge at his side.
Personality
At thirty-three, Roscoe is in his early adulthood and has the energy to match. His mothers taught him that the best things in life are hospitality among friends and warm baked goods, while his curiosity would add "uncovering old secrets" to that list. He's allied to the 7 Cities' bureaucracy for his library work and the commoners for his bodega services. The Church of Waukeen certainly isn't on his good side.
Cherrycheeks knows the name of someone that somehow managed to steal a book from the ArchCrystal Tower, and awaits the day they cross paths to unleash library justice upon the criminal.
