It is unknown how old Martin is, as during the [[Cephalopponent Games]], he appeared to be in his late 40's, however has recently made an appearance in Seglock, looking no older than someone in his thirties. Martin is of average height and build, and is simply human. He carries a traveling shoe cart with him, where a topaz homunculus can be seen kicking its feet. |

Martin Blackwood's is a shoemaker who once unwittingly took part in one of the many Cephalopponent Games held by the Bleak Academy.
Martin made it to second place, nearly reaching the top of the final challenge, before failing a jump, and falling over 60 feet, crashing on the cavern floor below them.
It is currently unknown if Martin died after the fall, or if their body was claimed and their ceremorphosis completed, turning them into an Illithid.
