\n== Background ==
Much like the Pantheons of Quelmar, the Underdark has it's own ancient lores of higher beings. While those rich in religious knowledge have learned a little about Torog, the creator of the Underdark, those on the surface will find sparse literature about the Underdark's true gods.
The Old Ones exist purely mythological, opposed to the Quelmar Gods, who interfere and rebuke and send forth holy warriors. The lack of evidence for these powers has led to very little documentation on whether they actually exist or not.
Despite all of this, the names of the Old Ones are often whispered in prayers in the darkest corners of the Underdark, and those who listen closely can hear tales of the dark pantheon.
