Peatree was a Drakkotaur slave and right-hand-man to Tani-Wa who, when confronted with a moral dilemma, chose to allow Tani-Wa's enemies to flee his temple safely. Peatree paid for this act with his life, leading to him only making a sole appearance.

History

Peatree was kidnapped in 786 PR, shortly before Tani-Wa established his fortress, located on an abandoned temple in the middle of the ocean. Peatree was recognized for his uniqueness, and given more respect than any other slave. He was given his own room, he did not need to share his space with any slaving Vanara, and Tani-Wa (also being a larger creature) supplied Peatree with his old bed, which could just barely fit the Drakkotaur comfortably.

Peatree was given a list of guard-dog responsibilities, and a single rule: if he failed to live up to his responsibilites, there would be "Death by Tigers".

When Aqua (another slave) would be rescued by his sister Terra, Peatree would, in a moment of weakness, allow them to sneak out of the temple and take a boat back to the main land. Peatree would next appear as a leather skin adorning Tani-Wa.
