The Empyrosis of the Aegerian Temple was the final conflict of the great Galik blackout of 465 PR, in which the perpetrator of the city-wide blackouts was identified, and his patterns of attack were figured out, allowing Galik to station an exceptional force of city guards at his next target.

Combatants[edit | edit source]

The Battle was a free-for-all to gain control of the all powerful Crown of Empyrosis which was responsible for all the damage.

Unfortunately for the combatants, the crown had the home-turf advantage as it quickly immolated the church grounds, swiftly hazing the stonework into meshes of lava and flame. The Crown also summoned creatures of fire to assist in protecting itself as both the good forces of the city and the evil forces of Bane attempted to get their hands on the crown.

Result[edit | edit source]

The Battle took a took for the better when the bugbear Grindseed knocked the crown off of the head it was currently sitting on, temporarily dissipating its power, allowing the witch Edna to grab the crown and stuff it in a pot as the winners flew away on the back of a Lyreguard griffon.
