History[edit | edit source]
For hundreds of years, this group of nomads has travelled along the lands of Amusa’s wilds. They are led by a family of auburn haired elves. Their people have many tales, legends, and folklore surrounding the different developments of magic in the wilds, but these are all handed down orally and none are written down.
Notable People[edit | edit source]
Garolos – an older elven male with auburn hair that is lightened with a few silver streaks. He is the leader of the Thistlebrook Conclave
Curian – son of Galoros, he is a hot-headed young male elf with darker auburn hair that he wears with many braids, determined to become the leader of the conclave, despite his poor temperament. He is an archer and has notable strength.
Bitris – A firbolg druid with bright green fur and hair. She is a lightweight when drinking but friendly.
Jada and Jozar – these are halfling twins. Jada is very quick and perceptive, Jozar is easily distracted
Dream – a pale grey tabaxi who loves to spin stories. Described by Garalos as “not your typical entertainer” and she partakes in the dank leaves.
Rezzik – a human with a large beard that makes you do a double take because you think you might just be seeing a very tall dwarf. He cooks for the druids.
Notable Events[edit | edit source]
First Encounter[edit | edit source]
A party of members from the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company went to find this group of nomads when some of their livestock went missing, a mistake made by the conclave, who assumed the animals to have been abandoned. This led to the two parties becoming aware of one another. Thistlebrook invited the adventuring members to come back to their camp to take part in a feast as well as games such as log pulling, archery, dice, drinking, story telling, and a scavenger hunt. Near the end, Reedy discussed an informal partnership between the camps while the Tempest Bros occupied the space on the Thistlebrook’s ancestral home. Thistlebrook sent back animals to compensate for those taken and a formal letter of apology.
Funeral of Rachet[edit | edit source]
Nix, the dragonborn, took her brother Rachet’s body to the Thistlebrook Conclave to have their funeral rites performed. Rachet’s body was presented on a funeral pyre with incense and flowers. Many members of the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company joined them. After his remains were burned, his ashes were then buried between the roots of a great tree.
