As the most widespread Dungeons and Dragons campaign setting, the Forgotten Realms (founded by Ed Greenwood) is the default setting for many adventures. When adapting material written for the Forgotten Realms into Quelmar, here are a few helpful guidelines.

Locations[edit | edit source]

  • Waterdeep can be replaced in any module or story with Galik.
  • Chult can be replaced with Kiston or any of it's orbital islands (making sure to pick an era where it is unlocked)
  • The Sword Coast doesn't have a direct correlation (so far) but Oppidan is a region with many cities and points on interest on the water.
  • Baldur's Gate does not have a direct correlation yet, Zobeck or Dolmvay are large cities that could be used until a real equivalent is world-built.

Languages[edit | edit source]

Illuski[edit | edit source]

Bremish

Waelan[edit | edit source]

The agrarian language of ____ originated on the eastern coast of Amusa.

Ulou[edit | edit source]

The urban language of ____ originated on the western coast of Amusa.

Thorass[edit | edit source]

The nomadic Trudgeon tongue of early Humans in Pteris.

Chessan[edit | edit source]

Troverthian

Raumtheran[edit | edit source]

The Feytouched tongue of Isonhound, which shares much vocabulary with Sylvan, but is distinctly human.
