History

This college is noted for being the keepers of knowledge. When asked what knowledge, the simple as is given "The Knowledge". In the thousands of tomes found in the candle lit rooms has all the past information you could ever want. The weather, birthdays, death days, tides changing. But for those who seek the knowledge without the proper training will sink into madness at the overwhelming amount of information. Only a select few are allowed to look upon the humble pages. However, one you enter, your life belongs to the knowledge.

Notable Places

The Tower: This is where the main part of the college and collection remain. The books do not leave, neither do the people. Should they leave, they're minds are not the same as they once were.

Page Huts: Those in training for the knowledge and known as Pages. They live outside the college in small thatch shacks. Cozy, but not super nice.

Notable People

The Pages: Pages are initiates to the college. They do the chores for the college, send and receive messages, run errands for the scholar's inside. After they are proven worthy, or another member passes on, they may be given a chance to join the ranks. Some wait a lifetime.

The Turners: These are apprentices to the college higher ups. They are officially in the college and in training to keep the knowledge and uphold the sacred bond of pen and paper. Once you become a Turner, you take a vow of silence as to never share the knowledge with outsiders under penalty of madness.

The Markers: These are the writers of the knowledge. Messages will come to them from The Turners. It's unclear how the Turners receive these messages, but the words are given to the Markers through a unique unspoken language using gestures and facial expressions.

The Keepers: These scholars organize the knowledge as it changes. Books flying off the shelves and being moved one right after the other in what looks like a synchronized motion without a single word.

The Encyclopedia: The Dean of the College and master of the knowledge. No one knows who the Encyclopedia is...except one unlucky sailor, and one very lucky builder. The Encyclopedia is responsible for the continuation of the knowledge.

The Voice: The Voice is an Air Genasi contracted to the college through a spiritual bond. They are the physical voice of the college to outsiders who are worthy of learning some the tower's darker secrets.

Notable Events

 The Pirates one day entering the college seeking the on called The Encyclopedia. They were met with The Voice and given a brief tour, a rare experience. Inside a book was stolen and the crew were snapped out into the meadow, one person missing. When turning to look around the college again, the books and people were gone.

Gorton met an old friend who know goes by the name, The Encyclopedia.
