Direheart Pond is a pond located about 5 hours north of Deeplake in Isonhound.
History
In 825 PR, a scholar from Deeplake believed that he had heard of an ancient text that was lost at the pond. Sending out a group of heroes to the area, they investigated to find the tome.
Instead, they discovered that the pond was one of the rare spots in the realm where one can cross paths with The Curator, who took the form of a frog on the water, waiting to be kissed and turned back into a "Prince". In one particular case it was Elric who kissed the frog, revealing the Curator's presence.
