Loontown is a small city in Isonhound, made up primarily of Beastfolk of dozens of different lineages. The city is nestled in the middle of a deep and wild forest, but the folks who live there are strong of heart, fleet of foot, and plentiful of fur.

History

Founded in 415 BR by a group of adventurers who had accidentally crossed planes from the Feywild, the city quickly grew as Beastfolk from all over the continent began to hear rumors of a place where they would be fully accepted.

Notable Places

• The University of Nyxeros: a college for students studying the ways of magic, fighting, strategy, history, nature, or religion.
  • Occasionally college kids will dress up as other animals to screw with the tourists.
• The Summer Garden Ampitheatre: a performance space for actors, musicians, and other artists. Operates during the late Spring, Summer, and early Fall.
• The Knight's Keep: College dive with a popular beer-pong championship.
• QcDonalds: Only has one bathroom.

Notable Events

• The founding of the University of Nyxeros in 450 BR by a brilliant young Sparrowfolk who was tired of being underestimated and looked over at the primarily human University she left town to attend
