History
Born on the planet "Redemption" on the sub-continent of India, Valeria joined the Stellar Navy academy. With the outbreak of the Relic-Cooprative war before her graduation, Valeria volunteered for service to protect the Cooperative.
During her service, she would meet many who would later become her crew, including her best friend Ensign Ylatl and husband Jonathan Treggs.
After the war and liberation of Relith, Valeria finished her academy training and joined the Stellar Navy command path.
When selecting command for the The Sextant, war hero Valeria Saldani was determined to helm the Sextant's historic mission, and used their influence earned during the war to pull strings and all but guarantee they would be selected by Stellar Navy High Command. Almost the moment their posting was announced, they insisted on several select crew to be under their command, including their first mate, Larid Mahor, and their old friend from the war ensign Ylatl.
