The Arctic Express is a ship outfitted with engines and saw blades, created by Captain Crezzerin to navigate the frozen seas south of Osugbo during the Fantasial Freeze. It is usually docked at port in Ravel, available to whatever PCs. wish to make use of it.
After the Freeze began, Crezzerin immediately began seeking parts and pieces to manufacture the saw blades and engines needed to cross the frozen shelf. She left messages on bulletin boards across Ravel for heroes to come and aid her in this endeavor. Sadly, in the beginning response to the Freeze, a refitted ship was not a high priority of the heroes. They instead chose to find food, establish Bastions, and investigate the Blowt that appeared along with the surprise chill. Left with few options, Crezzerin began stealing the parts and pieces she needed. Operating under the alias "Firefly", she grew notorious and bold enough that heroes were asked to stop her burglaries instead.
A group of heroes did investigate the Firefly's misdeeds (Episode _ of the Fantasial Freeze), and were shocked to find out Crezzerin was behind it. After smoothing things over with the Ravel authorities, the heroes assisted in the construction of the great saw ship. The completed ship was dubbed the Arctic Express.
Now, the Arctic Express is a way to explore the world beyond Ravel. If an NPC has ever lost their way in the frozen world, it's likely they'll pop up as a member of the crew. If you're lucky enough to take a trip, enjoy the adventure and remember - birds help keep away whales!
