Dominic Suarez, Callsign: JUNKIE is the current head of combat and expedition operations of the Silver Lining. He is among the youngest in the crew with his twin sister, Valentina, and one of the youngest pilots to ever hold the ranking of Lieutenant Commander. He gained his callsign due to his nature of being an adrenaline junkie, despite him being one of the more sober members of the crew.
I once thought Junkie would be the one that the torch would be passed to. - Sonata
Oh? Is my dear sister fearing the responsibility? - Symphony
Personal History[edit | edit source]
Dominic lived with his mother and sister for the first eight years of his life. Due to the ongoing Hercynian Crisis, his mother didn't feel very comfortable with letting either of her children out on their own. While Valentina took this as an opportunity to learn code, Dominic couldn't bring himself to sit still and would consistently find new, extravagant ways to break out of his own home. From crawling out of windows to lockpicking his backdoor, he earned his freedoms anytime he felt he needed a breather from home. His mother passed away when he and Valentina were eight, due to illness. Both children were then put into the foster care system, where they were taken in by Edward Garcia. Dominic, ever the rebellious type, still tried to find ways to get out on his own. Although Edward was far less resistant to it, he still felt like Dominic could use a bit more guidance in his life. Dominic was sent to Simon Dominguez, who taught him how to cook and eventually pilot. He struck out on his own as a mercenary at age 20, where he founded a small mercenary organization called Ladyworld. He built it up on Bass, a planet about two star systems away from Destreza, before he received the call from Spiral to join the crew of the Silver Lining.
I always forget that Simon taught him to cook! - Symphony
You're surprised by that, and not the mercenary company? - Sonata
Appearance and Demeanor[edit | edit source]
Dominic looks rather young, largely because he is. He's on the relatively shorter side of the ship, being about 5'8, which doesn't sound very short until you see the rest of the crew. As for his demeanor, he is extremely level-headed and incredibly unproblematic. On the Silver Lining, this is a feat equal to that of destroying a star system.
I don't like that it's correct. - Symphony
None of us do, brother. - Sonata
Mech Hangar[edit | edit source]
JUNKIE pilots Mercury's Passage, an LSI Winchester that is abnormally polished for a mech of its kind. While its systems are largely stock, the typical spray-paint patterns that decorate most Winchesters are notably absent, instead opting for a sleek red plating design.
Shiny... - Symphony
Please stop drooling. - Sonata
