The Bogge is an Archfey who is a Courtier within the Unseelie Court. Little is known of it, and it prefers it that way.
Description[edit | edit source]
Often just a pair of dark purple eyes in a shroud of darkness, the Bogge arrives with thick, rotted and thorny vines. It speaks often in it's target's heads - and enjoys toying them with riddles and unspecific answers.
Works[edit | edit source]
A stark adversary of the Seelie Court, he has been playing the game of cat and mouse with the Queen and her court for centuries. He has gotten the upper hand a handful of times, but tends to play in the backseat of conflicts. He enjoys playing with it's contracts - often getting them to do work for him under the guise of games or puzzles. When his contracts have played their part - he gives the pawn a chance to escape, a piece for another game later down their mortal lives.
Currently, he holds the Aarakocra known as Finnegan Warbler under contract - working to collect and hold select Seelie courtiers' names hostage for his next move within his game of truth and lies. The Queen's songbird was almost too good to give up - especially when they begged so desperately for a way out of Her Majesty's velvet-covered claws.
Worshippers/Contracts[edit | edit source]
Finnegan Warbler - Dual Contract (Freedom from Titania, the Seelie Queen & Power/ Isolating his bargain to the contractee - This negates the rest of his bloodline from being called upon to complete his deal.)
Languages[edit | edit source]
Common, Elvish, Sylvan, Telepathy
Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
He appears as his intended target's worst nightmare given flesh. Even as concepts like death, grief, or loneliness, he will look like the epitome of that fear given flesh. He controls wild flora and occasionally feral beasts of dark and twisted places. Those who make deals with him have some sort of thorn adornment that acts as a reminder and a warning.
Notable Holy Sites[edit | edit source]
The places inhabited by the dark and the wild are always a preferred place to worship. Though, he does not need it - for his terror and cunning is enough to warrant respect.
