Venaleth

One of the oldest and most powerful around, Venaleth was on the Ruby Court alongside Sardior in ancient prehistoric times. Over history he took many forms, subtly guiding the realm like an invisible hand (or a force of gravity). At one point he became the headmaster of a school called the Katharda Academy, and upon Sardior's resurrection returned to server the court again.

Protector of Fallhorn

When the umbral flood devoured Isonhound in 826 PR, one amethyst dragon came out of hiding in the city to protect it and the citizens who it had come to secretly adore. Using its gravitational power, it held steadfast in a bubble of psionic energies that was enough to protect the city from rival dragon Feredemius' shadow/psionic energies.

It is rumored, but unconfirmed, that the Amethyst egg found in Isonhound around the same time may have belonged to this nameless dragon.

Harold's Child

During the events of Into the Greedy Green, a number of Dragon eggs were found, rescued, destroyed, or adopted. One very important egg was the Amethyst Dragon wyrmling that would be adopted by the loxo Harold, originally protected by the emerald dragon Smargarg.
