Jugbug Fiddlehead was a Satyr bard unlike any other.

Whilst he was indeed part man and part goat, he had been formed through the carnal union of a Goat Mage and a beast. His arrival brought about much fear and confusion in his father’s village, so was cast out into the nearby river. Surprisingly, Baby Jugbug managed to survive the journey downstream, and was found by a band of nomads. Unfortunately it was not long before slavers captured the group and Jugbug’s life of servitude began. During his formative years he was trained as an entertainer, with music being his first passion.
By 10 PR he was in the service of The Great Asar Partui, until Orris of the OathWielders liberated him and his fellow slaves.
For the time being he agreed to join up with the Oathwielders on their voyage to Jewelspar, where the adventurers sought repairs and supplies. Joining Orris in exploring the markets, the satyr gifted Jugbug a suit of fine dark clothing to replace his slave attire. Before returning to the ship they performed music in the market square together.
To raise money for the ship repairs the group decided to seek the financial aid of a powerful patron within the city. The three candidates each bestowed a task to earn their favour, and Jugbug - in an effort to repay the Oathwielders for his freedom - took it upon himself to complete Olorona’s request to prank one of the other patrons. Channeling his inherited goat magic power, he managed to charm the scholar Elhorn into believing they themselves were a goat, causing a book eating incident in their library.
Whilst Olorona was pleased with the prank - securing the adventurers their patronage - Jugbug’s actions resulted in the arrest of the whole group, where they were incarcerated for several days. Jugbug himself suffered a worse fate, being sentenced by the Elhorns to a swift sentence of life in chains, banished to the darkest dungeons.
Jugbug valiantly sacrificed his own freedom to ensure his new friends could continue on their journey to Galik.
But some say, if you visit those dungeons, you may find the Goat Mage's son...or you may just hear the sounds of empty chains on walls.
