Personality[edit | edit source]

Orris is open to learning.
Orris values Freedom and would never let anyone take it from him.
History[edit | edit source]
Orris was born not knowing what race, type, or lineage of fey his family of fauns hail from, and so, having no stake in either side of the politics, seeked to escape the war destorying his home forest and travel afar to find prosperity and sanctuary.
Orris' first recorded interaction with slave traders came in the form of the Shinardi of Osugbo, who planned to pawn off his horns and hooves before selling him and his friends off. Not only did Orris fight off the ninjas, he saved all the other kidnapped slaves in the process. From that day, Orris made it a priority to ensure freedom to every person he encountered on his quest around the realm.
Orris would be ratted out by fellow team member Dusky, and the Troverthian soldiers would take Orris out to a field to kill him. However, Orris would turn the tides and broker a deal, revealing that he could be a mediator between the Samurai and the traitors who had killed dozens of them on the road.
When exposed to Fearmones, Orris relived the moments in his past in which he could not save his own father from a mugger in the Dwarven tunnels they stationed themselves in. Orris hesitated, did nothing, and was taunted by the mugger as he fled taking Orris' money...and his father's life.
Orris would eventually learn that his lineage was in fact elven, with his mother being a beautiful elf by the name of Fanadil Rhivir, of the Rhivir blood line, sometimes called "The Livers".
Orris also took a deal with Dark Powers for special enhanced abilities, but in return, it cost him his eyesight.
Orris was killed by The Red Blades, but his mother's blood allowed him one more chance at life. Within a week of his resurrection, Orris joined all his friends at The Griffon's Last Stand...but unlike the other OathWielders, Orris had been resurrected, and his resurrection meant that he now was but a pawn of the god of life and death, Nerull. Orris took small opportunities wherever he could during the battle NOT to kill his friends, and pushed against Nerull's puppeteering fingers at every opportunity. Orris was the only one of Nerull's puppets to get to the top of the Citadel of the Griffon, where he faced off with defenders of Eve briefly, before he was (purposefully???) knocked off the building, stopping Nerull's closest attempt at winning.
When the battle concluded, all of Nerull's Living Pawns would die, as the curse that sustained their resurrection had now been broken. Orris would be mourned by his team at the tower that night.
Afterlife[edit | edit source]
Orris' soul would later finish an afterlife of Hedonism and move on to become a merranoloth.
