Mount Croghan is a volcano just outside of Galik city limits. It is a cinder cone volcano with steep sides and a craggy exterior, and has erupted the most times of any volcano over Quelmar's PR era. There is a direct portal to the Elemental Plane of Fire directly within the crater, which causes the volatile pyroclastic activity.
Notable Eruptions[edit | edit source]
PR 467 - Mount Croghan erupted in a way it had never done before; a slow lava flow, relatively gentle release of gas and no notable casualties. This miraculous result was the result of Halcyone's emergence into Quelmar, one of the new fire deity's first interventions on Quelmar soil. Since then, worshippers of Halcyone gather near Mount Croghan and ascend to the crater as a pilgrimage.
PR ??? - Known as "The Bad One", this volcanic eruption killed thousands of innocents and saw Mount Croghan lose several hundred feet of its height, as the stone crashed down upon Galik.
