Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]

He is about 6'2", 220 lbs, Reddish skin with Yellow eyes. Small horns coming out of his forehead and slightly pointed ears.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Quiet and reserved and not very talkative most of the time.

History[edit | edit source]

Brakanar, a male tiefling warlock has some of his infernal characteristics, such as his skin is a deep shade of red. His eyes lightly glow a light yellow with regular human middles. He has small, curved horns that protrude from his forehead, and his pointed ears and almost pure coal black hair. He dresses in a dark red and blue robe that is adorned with an intricate pattern that is related to his craft. Under the robe he wears leather armor and on his head he wears an old looking floppy hat that looks very worn. He carries a rob on his left side and a dagger on his right. His fingers has a few rings, with only one being magical, the others are for decoration, so to speak.

His demeanor is a little quiet and mysterious, as he guards his secrets the best he can and rarely looks to other for counsel if and when needed. Brakanar is somewhat cunning and always tries to find certain ways to get out of certain situations with using his mind rather than force. He was at one time haunted by the demons that lurk within him, but thanks to his patron, a Dao, he was able to maintain his sanity and resist their corrupting influence. Overall, Brakanar is a complex character, driven by a urge for power and knowledge, but also burdened by his own dark heritage and the secrets that he at one time carried.

During his time at the Lost Library, he gave up 27 years of memories to be able to find out the name of the person/being that checked out the book on an infamous dragon named Ferademius. In this book, the complete history of Ferademius was written, likes, dislike, strengths and weaknesses. The person/being that checked out the book for 1,000 years is named Audoen Dewfoot, odd name, but he will try to find out some information about this person/being before the final showdown with Ferademius.

Below are some of the memories that was lost and that are currently in the Lost Library that was given up by Brakanar:

Starting with his family listed below:

Mother - Sath'tez was a kind and gentle tiefling, who had always encouraged Brakanar to explore his innate magical abilities. She was an expert in herbalism and alchemy, and had tried to teach him everything they knew about potion-making. Unfortunetly he never really caught on and thus, forgot just about everything she tried to teach him. Brakanar vaguely remembers his mother's soothing voice, and how she would always be there to comfort him when he was scared or sad.

Father - Mag'thoth was a stern but caring tiefling, who had taught Brakanar everything he knew about combat and warfare. He had trained Brakanar in the arcane arts, and was always pushing him to become stronger and more skilled. Brakanar remembers his father's booming voice, and how he would always tell them stories about legendary battles and heroes.

Sister - Suzgul was a younger sister who was very close to Brakanar. She was also a tiefling, but had a more mischievous and adventurous spirit than he did. They would often sneak out of the house together to explore the nearby forests and caves. Brakanar remembers his sister's playful laughter and the way she would tease him. One day while playing in a nearby cave, an earthquake struck the area which caused  widespread destruction and loss of life, including his sister and the cave collasped, killing Suzgul and almost killing Brakanr in the process. Her passing left a lasting impact on the family and the surrounding community.

Brother - Azar was a bit more less reserved than the rest of the family. He was also a tiefling, but had a more scholarly and intellectual demeanor. He was always reading books and studying the ways of death and destruction. Brakanar remembers his brother's teaching and how he would bully him with this magic when he was struggling and trying to forget about Suzgul's death. Azar would always taunt and laugh about the incident and say that he would bring her back as an undead and have her chase and hurt people.

His parents would  honor Suzgul's memory by creating a small memorial in her name. They would often participate in activities or events that their daughter enjoyed or were important to her. They would try to find meaning in Suzgul's passing by volunteering or advocating for causes related to the circumstances of her death. Example: re-inforcing nearby caves and homes to help withstand any future earthquakes. They also took time to grieve their daughter's passing, which included taking time off from work or other responsibilities. They took time to create a space to remember Suzgul. This included a small place in the home that Suzgul loved to hide in when feeling depressed and lonely. A small row of candles was placed there and one was lit every weekend to show that everyone still missed her.
