Cookie is an NPC from the Within the Wicked Wilds Community Campaign. He is a small awakened otter who specializes in Abjuration Magic. Cookie serves as an arcane specialist for the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company. He is the former animal companion of Lyowyn Mossbringer.
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Cookie is a small brown river otter dressed in a small blue vest and a pair of miniature spectacles. When out in the field he carries a small backpack that can pick up to two scrolls. His spellbook is a small tome crafted out of leaves.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Cookie is a very formal and organized otter. He does his best to be professional knowing that people may be initially put off at seeing a talking otter. When it comes to magic he is very curious and much like the woman who raised him he likes to collect small bobbles and trinkets.
History[edit | edit source]
Cookie was taken in by Lyowyn Mossbringer who saved him from a bobcat when he was just a small pup separated from his family. He joined her as her animal companion and they journeyed together for many years. She would eventually use her druidic magic to awaken his small otter mind. It was here he first was able to comprehend the expansiveness of the world and the nature of his place in it. After much reflection he went to the woman who saved him and requested the opportunity to forge his own path. He and Lyowyn would mutually part ways as partners but still remain the best of friends. He got a job working with the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company in their magic department and began to practice wizardry.
