Lorcan Cyril is a Lawful Good-Aligned Mephistopheles Tiefling Silverquill Apprentice at Deroulex's Select Conservatory of the Arcane. Though he can be a bit paranoid at times of who he is in the company of, he always does his best to put a good foot forward to stand proud and stalwart as one of the many nobles at Deroulex, which, in talking about his upbringing and niceties can accidentally make him come off as snobby and pompous.

Lorcan adds to Deroulex's noble collection, as is always tradition, but most people outside of other nobles have never heard of the Cyril family, due to the history behind them being largely swept under the rug. The city that the Cyril family was one of the noble families of has all but seemed to forget about them, for the better, since they were not exactly on the right side of history. They were usurped in a coup, and lost to time. Lorcan hardly dwells on this fact, and seems to have no desire to resurface their power.
He does, however, act consummately like a noble, with snobby and pompous expressions to boot, and someone who's enough of an eagle eye would wonder about that disconnect? What kind of noble would be proud of their position as a noble, but not have any desire to reclaim their family's glory? The truth is that it's all an act, one that makes Lorcan a PRIME candidate for Silverquill, both light and shadow. He acts pompous in order to keep his family's perception about him solid, because the truth of the coup is much darker than the average person would think.
The captain of the revolutionaries, the one pulling all the strings in the coup all along, was none other than Lorcan himself. And now that it's said and done, he'll carry this secret to the grave, acting normal in order to shake would-be naysayers and to keep himself within the good graces of his family. But why turn against his own family? He still loves them, but he knew what they were doing was wrong. He wanted to show them what the right thing to do was, and though they never will know it was Lorcan who forced this upon them, they have changed for the better because of it.
