Old Alkinimic was an ancient red dragon who laired beneath Mount Alkinimic in Amusa. After passing from old age he was transformed into an aberrant mimic monstrosity by the philosopher's stone. He was eventually slain by members of the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company.
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Old Alkinimic appeared as a massive rotting dragon, or at least appearing as an approximation of what a dragon would look like. Its body was covered in a dark purple slime and purple tendrils stretched out from its skull like head.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Old Alkinimic did his best to appear intelligent and deceiving to cover up his animal like personality and low intelligence. He fights in a mad flurry and will offer false promises to his enemies to convince them to undergo the same mimic transformation he did.
History[edit | edit source]
Old Alkinimic was one of three dragons who journeyed to Amusa under the command of Kavanmort. After establishing his domain and lair under Mount Alkinimic, his old age soon caught up to him. For centuries after Old Alkinimic would remain in the mountain tended to by a tribe of Kobolds. He stopped attacking and raiding nearby settlements and settled into the mountain, content to slowly waste away.
In 893 PR Old Alkinimic would finally pass. The smoke rising from the mountain would turn from black to white signaling to the world his death. But little did the world know is that after his death he was transformed into a mimic-like monstrosity with the philosopher's stone and would go on to transform his kobold underlings in the same way. When explorers from the Tempest Brother's Expeditionary Company came to investigate the claims of his death in hopes of claiming his hoard, they were surprised to find the mimic dragon and his horde of violent kobolds. After this encounter Old Alkinimic would use his power to transform the mountain itself into a mimic like creature under his own control and would declare his intention to attack Galik and spread his curse.
Eventually a team of adventurers aboard the Allard's Revenge would attack Mount Alkinimic and slay the aberrant dragon, and freeing the soul of Old Alkinimic from his horrid cursed existence.

Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
Old Alkinimic excreted dark purple ooze which would stick people to his body. He had the ability to unleash a blast of tendrils which could grapple and draw in his opponents. His strongest ability was to spit up a glob of acidic acid to melt away his foes.

Along with his mimic like abilities, Old Alkinimic would attack his his claws, tendrils, and powerful bite.
