Serpen-Tina (Tina for short) is a Yuan-Ti Pureblood who hails from the under-sand city of Merca in the barren lands of Pteris. She is a swarm keeper ranger who is deadly with a bow and is friend to majority of insects. Tina is an adventure loving junkie who has just begun her exploration of the "sand walkers" world. She is literally a kid in a candy shop on the surface of Pteris with eyes filled with wonder and the attention span of a 5 year old.

Tina was sent by Merca to explore the "Sand Walker's" domain and was specifically tasked with charting any new (or undocumented) establishments Merca does not have record of. Brightwater was of particular interest to Merca, being one of the newer developments within a decent distance of Merca. Tina was to meet a Mercan ambassador named Brendan Fraser who had news of an ancient ruin/tomb that was apparently unknown to Mercan knowledge.
Tina spent most of her childhood within the Mercan city. The only few times she was ever allowed to surface was during the great openings. She would learn the trade of her family, swarm keeping, however, long for adventure at the same time. At the ripe age of 14, Tina enlisted into the Mercan Military where she would find her true calling was the bow and sneaking.
