(Redirected from Sylvan Vanguard)
The Sylvan Order (or Sylvan Vanguard) is an elven fighting force that dedicated itself to the defense of Elven lands across Quelmar.
About[edit | edit source]
Their symbol is A Silver/Grey Iron Cross on a Field of Red with the Gold Crescent Moons of Correllon in the Center Circle of the Cross.
They were started and managed by elves, but will include and recruit whoever they deem worthy of assisting on the battlefield. They handle areas not protected by city guards, often times patrolling forests and wild lands for pests.
Organization[edit | edit source]
The Wold Order[edit | edit source]
The faction of elves that protect the most elven-inhabited continent, Isonhound, are known as The Wold Order.
Notable Members[edit | edit source]
- Sir Bergen Cohnal, Paladin of Correllon who died many millenia ago in lands now known as Isonhound. His tomb was built to his exacting standards that brought the blessing of Correllon upon all buried within and established protections. The blessings provides protection from wild necromancy corrupting the corpses. As his spirit still rests in that tomb as many ancient elven spirits often do, it was defended by a Guardian Myrmidon and a number of Sentinels.
- Cohnal's tomb was raided by Cheshire's Goblins in 825 PR, who in turn were later driven out by heroes of the Greedy Green, including Arlin, Percy, Vadath, and Búho, who then reconsecrated the land.
