The Battle of Chad, otherwise known as Last Battle of the Old Regime, or the Return of the Best Around was a battle taking place immediately following a performance art piece by Wilhelm Folkel, "Live at the Cathedral!"
Summary[edit | edit source]
The battle is often stated to be the turning point in Wilhelm's War against the Friends of Kragnux as after this battle he was instated as the church's leader. The battle is named in memory of Chad, the noble Ursine companion to Wilhelm Folkel the Scrate, who died in battle saving the future Pope.
Stumblebum's Ascension in the Conflict[edit | edit source]
Stumblebum's involvement in the battle could be linked back to the last words he said to his friend Pete, the Dragonborn Ranger before Pete was shot in the face. "Are we going to war?" It seems that the battle of Chad is the beginning of many wars but the end of that conflict. Stumblebum, racked with the grief of losing his friend Pete, the heartbreak of seeing his one true love killed under the Baleah Crossing and the utter confusion of losing his pet rat, charged to the Fang Fu Monastery aboard the stolen ship the S.S. Wolf-claw.
