The Guardians of Kiston were a group of 7 divine creatures drawn from the energies of various planes and worlds that were created by the gods to lock Tiamat and her dragonkin inside the cursed island of Kiston.

Note that Pelor, traditionally a creator god in alliance with those below, was splintered at the time of Tiamat's banishment, and as such did not create an island or a guardian.

The Kiston Guardians reigned between 0 PR and 796 PR, when Tiamat slayed the last of the Guardians, Chronepsis, thus unlocking Kiston and bringing the full wrath of the Dragons back into the world.

Chronepsis: Guardian of Cof

• Divine Creator: Obad-Hai, drawn from the dangerous creatures Quelmar had faced in the Chimera Wars, stolen from imprisonment and placed as a guard, as Obad-Hai believed them to be the most monstrous---yet completely natural---creature in history.
