Violet Lorinda is a 94-year-old alien Tiefling dropped into Quelmar from another world entirely, Luanda.

She spends most of her days sneaking around the realm to gather information and find clues as to what is the next biggest or current threat. Violet is a rogue and a ranger, while she has always been a rogue and enjoys sneaking around she also wants to understand magic, also most Tieflings she meets these days are a spell caster so she wanted to see what all the hype was about.
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Violet Lorinda is a looming presence, she definitely sticks out in the crowd, sometimes it is an advantage but most of the time it is a disadvantage for this tiefling. Since she is a Tiefling this is a given with her All Eyes On Me feature. Violet stands at 5'10, she has long black hair with half of it in a braid, she has violet eyes (that is how she got her name). She weighs around 250 lbs. she has a set of wings on her back, sadly they are not useable wings even though they malt like all other wings-not a fun time for Violet. She has these beautiful ombre purple horns. Also a set of shark-like teeth, this is for her eating habits because she is a carnivore. Her tail is like the devil's tail which comes from her infernal blood, her ears are pointed in almost an elven style, on both her arms she has two full sleeves (ask her about them the story of how she got them is interesting, to say the least). Violet also has six piercings in total. She has a septum, two cartilage piercings on her right ear, and one on her left. Also, she has both lobes pierced, all her jewelry is silver, just so it matches her color scheme. For weapons, she two short swords and a bow with some arrows.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Violet is an impulsive, arrogant, stealthy, mysterious, stubborn, and sometimes clumsy. She has two sides to her the outer shell that everyone sees. She is impulsive, tough, fearless, strong, athletic, cunning. She wants to be intimidating when you first approach her. Violet rarely walks ups to people and introduces herself, she tends to stand back and watch everyone around her. She likes to stay aware of her surroundings at all times because you never know what may occur. If you do decide to approach her do it carefully she reads people well and can feel off if someones intentions are tainted. Under that whole outer shell though we have the Violet that people tend not to see. This Violet feels isolated from others, traumatized from her past. Violet had to learn everything about the world at age 13 on her own. Inner Violet does not come out often this only occurs around people that she feels safe and comfortable being around. Violet also has a problem with feeling vulnerable and will most often react in an aggressive form if she does feel vulnerable. In reality, Violet is sensitive even though she may act tough. Violet was neutral evil at first, and only did what she saw fit She has stolen a lot and done other crimes. Overtime though she began to find that in Quelmar many people are experiencing fear and pain. This Violet would not wish on anyone because she has experienced this countless times before. From then on she has began helping others and doing things to bring people hope. She has even joined a guild. Where the mission is to help people. She also is a bit of a kleptomaniac, even though she has tried to knock this habit she has not been quite successful. Shiny things are especially hard for her to ignore (I mean its shiny how can she not). She does not have any bonds from her past, this is where her isolation came from and it is something she has been used to for sometime. Most people from her past have died or betrayed her in some way. This is where he stubbornness comes from and also her being easily angered and many other traits that come from her past.

The overview of Violet's history is that she was born in a tiny village called Luanda somewhere not in the Quelmar realm, quite far in fact so it is a question to how did she get here in Quelmar? Her father was gone before she was born, her mom said he had died but Violet did not quite believe this because her mom never had any pictures or information about him just very vague details, still to this day she questions if he is actually alive and why did her mom resent him so much. Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
During a battle Violet always jumps into action, with no regard for her own life just focused on taking the enemy down. She may also have some anger problems so battling is an excellent way to express her anger. She prefers to take down the enemies by hand, hence why she carries her weapons in her hands just something about being able to feel the power within her used to take down an enemy is fulfilling to her. She usually does her own thing while also trying to help contribute to whatever the team is doing during the fight, but also what could benefit her in the long run too do not be fooled she may do things to gain advantage for herself but at the cost of others. Be wary though she may have a few tricks up her sleeve, always be aware of your surroundings.
Attacks and Weapons [edit | edit source]
Violet's favorite weapon is the +1 longsword from Arlin, she was granted this longsword on one of their many adventures together. Even though Arlin can be a bit of a grumpy asshole Violet enjoys his company. He also has healed her many times so she is very grateful for that too. She now wields it with two hands, it has become her trusty sword and she will never part ways with it. Another favorite weapon of Violet's is her vicious longbow which she gained from a companion she met before he retired, she is delighted by the gift and was surprised she was gifted it. She now vows to use it to the best of her abilities.
