Dumathoin was an aspect of Moradin created to deal with concealment and hiding of secrets among the Dwarven people.
His main purpose was to sequester and compartmentalize the secrets of the realm that would otherwise drive a god insane (literally or with power).
Followers[edit | edit source]
At least one follower of Dumathoin existed among The Order of the Watchful Eye, a devout dwarven clan located in Gammelgard, Isonhound.
Secrets Held[edit | edit source]
As his title suggests, Dumathoin was "Secret Keeper Under the Mountain", and many of his secrets involve things tucked far under Quelmar, deep in mountains that even dwarves refuse to touch.
The Imprisonment of Feredemius[edit | edit source]
Under the largest of the Northern Snowy Mountains laid a chained god - Feredemius. Long before even Prehistory, Feredemius was one of many powers that made up the Ruby Court. However, Feredemius had wanted more, and after his darkest urges were magnified by Shadow Sickness, he began an attempt to overthrow the court.
It was not successful, and even though he was able to take out one of the lesser court members (An obsidian dragon known as Kristang), he was quickly locked up by the rest of the court and imprisoned under the mountain for eternity. The knowledge of his imprisonment laid only with Sardior and Moradin, who then splintered the knowledge off into Dumathoin.
