About[edit | edit source]

The Royal Court AKA the Kingdom was passed down over generations. But Queen Krylov has been their leader for as long as most remember. She has traveled the halls extensively by having Clone cast, and sending the clone out to explore and invite people to the Royal Court Kingdom, learning and capturing events and dying, respawning in the kingdom, etc.

The Royal Court believes the City is set up around a false promise of escape, and pushes the idea that what "The City" says is escape, is actually just death, or a fate worse than death. Instead, the Kingdom banks on prophecies of a time when the BackHalls will disperse and all of its creatures released back into the world. This means the Vestiges will return too, and as such, need to be killed.

Ipos is the "Court Jester" and much of the Court's ideas are based on their history and research, especially the idea that staying in the Kingdom will eventually result in salvation.

History[edit | edit source]

It was said that at some point in the BackHalls' impossible history, the Queen of the Royal Court owned all of the halls, or somehow had claimed all of the rooms. However, the Kingdom was primarily known to only operate a small portion of space just off of room 999.

Finding the Kingdom was as easy as traveling through the BackHalls and tracking the numbers on the floor as they get higher and higher. The Kingdom, in that regard, was the "reward" to creatures who could survive and make it all the way to the end.
