Abishai are unique devils created by the souls of dragons or dragon worshippers in the Ten Hells. They can most notably be found in Duumal and Malbolge

Abishai look like draconic dragonborn and have the same scales they had in life. Unlike most other devils, Abishai are resistant to the waters of The River Styx and remember most of their lives as dragons, and such still possess many of the some personality qualities like their urges to pillage and hoard. Many still claim loyalty to the dragon goddess Tiamat and work to bring about her mission, even in the Hells.
