Dragonborn are a race of humanoid creatures with a very strong draconic heritage.
Appearance
Dragonborn come in three known variants: Chromatic, Metallic, and Gem. The color of a Dragonborn's scales is determined by the color of their draconic ancestor. Gem Dragonborn are substantially less common due to Gems being the most elusive type of Dragon.
It is uncommon for a Dragonborn to possess tail, but not unheard of. Being born with a tail typically indicates an inherited potential to learn flight later in life (such as a Gem Dragonborn or a Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer).
