A Road-Housed Roadhouse was a licensed mobile tavern, of which the traveling merchant was certified and rigorously tested by a board of experts.
Notable Road-Housed Roadhouses
Bar from Afar
The Bar from Afar operated primarily along the Oppidan outskirts for any travelers going into the Fiddlehead Mountains or on their way back into the many cities on the Oppidan coast. It was run by a dwarf named Muddy Hillcloak and it sold a 100% approved list of drinks suitable for serving on the road...as well as a secret menu, served under the table to adventurers. These "drinks" were actually various tonics, potions, and expendables like Alchemist Fire. The Bar From Afar showed up in the Ancients Alive campaign, where alchemist Blumenthal discovered it was selling some of his own recipes.
