Ted was a human paladin and the leading apothecary of the city of Dolmvay who later would quit his operations and join The Best Around on their quest to stop Corduth. He would continue to join them until his death on the island of Cof.

Ted employed roughly 3 dozen small boys who worked in laborious conditions in his apothecary shop.
While stranded on Cof, Ted adopted a young dinosaur he would name Licky (short for Lickalotapus).
