Verglas Tundrachian is a Silver Dragonborn Barbarian residing in Breme around the year 750 BR. He is a mercenary who was contracted by Trovus, the Dragonborn town speaker from Caer-Konig, to track down invisible Duergar who had been thieving from the town. This mission led to him being captured, stripped, and caged at the keep of Xardorok Sunblight for several weeks. It was during this imprisonment that he witnessed the construction of a Chardalyn Dragon. He would eventually be rescued by the Ten-Towns Adventurers and join their team to take down this Chardalyn Dragon, which had since been released in order to rain destruction upon the Ten-Towns.
Appearance
Verglas is a brawny, tall-statured Dragonborn coated with silver scales that reflect the bloodline of his icy Dragon ancestors. He follows the Tundra Path of the Storm Herald and is thus unhampered by extreme cold, wearing a sleeveless vest in subzero temperatures. His enchanted greataxe is always close at hand, having helped take down everything from a Chardalyn Dragon to the reanimated skeleton of a Frost Giant.
Personality
He is convinced he is an expert on "ice magic" tricks such as laminar flow and supercooling, but rarely ever demonstrates any of these concepts successfully.
The team came across an orphaned, dark grey egg during one of their adventures and it hatched into a baby Dragon Tortle-looking creature. Verglas named the baby Bowz and is an extremely protective parental figure, despite taking the baby on all of the team's dangerous adventures and initially believing that the egg would hatch into a giraffe.
His favorite flavor of Glacierade is grape.
