Pendergras Industries (/pendɜrgrɑ/) is a company devoted to developing emerging technologies, typically using Colin Pendergras's favorite method of technology---magic. Pendergras was a great artificer who used Wovenstone to enhance his static contraptions, giving them new life and capabilities.
History
The factory and production line of the company was built in Sneerwell some time in the early 690s PR.
The factory, and all pendergras production, was briefly halted when an explosion occurred, placed by Doraleous in 692 PR. A number of lives were lost in the explosion, but they were swiftly overlooked by the hundreds more dead in the wake of the city's Chimera attack the same week.
After Colin's death at the hands of The Friends of Kragnux, his wife Mila Perturb took over running the company, as she already had heavy handling in the company's matters, including the invention of some of it's notable devices.
Notable Products
Cyclonic Ravager
Only two of these were ever produced. The ravagers were massive airships meant to deliver parcels around the realm at accelerated speeds. The first ravager also had the skull of Sneerwell's mutated chimera mounted to the front. Neither airship returned intact from its maiden voyage, leading to Pendergras Industries to abandon the project. The first ravager was piloted by Sick of this Shit and their hired crew: Motto, Barty, and Walter. Who would go on to become honorary members of the team.
Smooth Bore Pistol
A predecessor the Penderlock, an invention Colin would go on to make with the Church of Kragnux, the smooth bore dealt about as much damage as a heavy crossbow, with ammunition only a fraction of the size and weight of bolts. The first prototype of the smooth bore was given to Zugs McFlair a little after his quests through the Tovag Baragu.
